You can have a look at the Rogue Trader Character Generator here. I guess you could call this a milestone, albeit a small one. All of the data regarding character generation (aside from items and psychic-specific stuff) has been entered in. All that remains now is actually getting everything working properly and tidied up.
What does work currently:
- Random generation of characteristic scores and wounds.
- Ability to reroll one (and only one) characeristic score.
- Ability to select an origin path. This is not pretty at all.
- The “Start Over” button.
What doesn’t work currently:
- Randomizers
- Fate Points, Insanity, and corruption
- Addition and calculation of characteristic bonuses from the origin path.
- It looks HORRIBLE.
- Pretty much everything else, yeah.
It’s gonna take some time, but I’m committed to eventually cranking out a solid chargen with online storage capabilities. Expect a customized Rogue Trader character sheet sometime within the next week, and shortly after that a ship randomizer. Stay tuned!
