This isn’t going to be a very meaty post, but I’ve just got to link to this guy. Check out Wyatt’s 4e Houserules (no really, check them out). There’s a lot of ideas here that I don’t much care for (increasing the number of points for point-buy, Unlimited Item Power and the such), but the Walking Wounded, Bloody Penalty, Gritty Death, Death Carryover and Munchies are well worth some consideration. If I find myself running or playing in a 4E game anytime soon I’ll definately try to have these rules incorporated.
