I recently corked four bottles of a Raspberry mead.  It’s somewhere between semi-sweet and sweet, I reckon about 12% to 14% ABV.  It tastes exacly as I’d hoped, strong raspberry flavor accompanied by the  tart-ness that you’d normally associate with raspberries.  It doesn’t overpower the honey character of the mead at all, either.
